Yes, we can safely treat black ink tattoos on all Fitzpatrick skin types at NAAMA.
We can only safely treat coloured ink tattoos on Fitzpatrick 1-3 skin types. The reason we don’t treat colour ink on Fitzpatrick 4-6 skin types is that the laser could potentially damage the skin’s melanocytes.
If you would like a bespoke assessment of what we could achieve with your tattoo, contact one of our expert consultants.
The cost of your tattoo removal depends on the size of your tattoo and plan. We offer 'pay as you go' sessions, packages, and our 'full removal' package, which comes with unlimited sessions for a fixed price (valid for 18 months). All prices are available to view on our pricing page.
A consultation and patch test costs £69 and is ideal for new clients, but is not mandatory.

When you visit our London studio you’ll receive detailed dermatoscope imaging of your tattoo(s) throughout treatment to track your progress as well as a bespoke treatment plan tailored to your tattoo and your lifestyle.

On average a tattoo will take 8-12 sessions to completely remove - sometimes less, sometimes more - and 5 sessions to fade for a cover-up.
Each removal is unique and will depend on factors such as the tattoo location, type of ink used, skin type, aftercare, and the health of the immune system.
To find out more about the factors that influence how many sessions it will take, read our blog here.
